"Steamboat" Cooking [Fondue Chinoise] Comes to Montreal

In the Montreal MIRROR of April 5th, Mark Slutsky [whose writing I really enjoy] reviews a new restaurant here--part of an Asian chain--called Little Sheep. They serve Mongolian 'hotpot', which is very savoury broth served to you in a heated container placed in the middle of your table, into which you did the 1,500 garnishes, meats, and veggies provided. Sounds fun!

The 'steamboat' style of cooking may not be so conducive to first dates, but for families, groups of couples, old friends, whatever--it's fun and it's participatory...
