CK in2u: Smells Like Marketing Bullshit

[NY Times]

"Thirteen years after it released CK One, the mega-selling fragrance that, for some, embodied the essence of the mid-'90s grunge era, Calvin Klein is trying to capture the scent of the blogging, texting "technosexual" (a word the company coined and trademarked) generation. Hence the fittingly texty name of the new scent: CK in2u."
[now smell this]
"CK IN2U Her includes notes of pink grapefruit, bergamot, currant leaves, sugared orchid accord, white cactus, neon amber, vanilla souffle and red cedar. It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in Body Milk and Shower Gel.
CK IN2U Him has notes of citron vert "Gin Fizz", pomelo leaves, frosted tangelo, Cacao bean, Jamaican pepper, shiso leaves, white musk
, white cedar and "ultra-vetiver". It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and After Shave Gel."

Update: the CKIN2U fragrances launched in the US today, 3/8. They were developed by perfumers Bruno Jovanovic, Jean Marc Chaillan, Loc Dong & Carlos Benaim. (via osmoz)
